COOKIE

Cookie is a Mismarked Mantle Female AKC registered Great Dane
She is fully sighted and hears fine.
We rescued Cookie from a neglect situation in Zanesville Ohio on 2/22/05
Cookie was being forced to live in a basement with an empty water bowl
and no proper food or love or care or socialization
Cookie is 3 years old and extremely underweight
Cookie is spayed

Cookie is a smaller sized Great Dane she's 31" tall to her shoulders from the ground
Cookie has several medical issues which we will be tending to immediately
Cookie in addition to being underweight has a very dry and calloused nose from lack
of proper watering and was living on a diet of Ol Roy dog food
( The worst food you could possibly feed a dog in our opinion)

Cookie is suffering from major gastric problems from lack of proper nutrition
Cookie also has some severe dental issues which will need to be taken care of immediately also.
Her toenails were so long she could not walk properly.

Cookie will be seeing a vet immediately for a total exam and heartworm testing and fecal testing.

We can really use monetary donations to help defray the cost of Cookies needed medical care
as our Veterinary Fund is very low due to several urgent medical needs new intakes in the last few weeks.

Cookies foster mom reports that Cookie is getting along fine with the cats, other dogs and younger children
in her foster home and is very grateful for the attention and love she is receiving at her new foster home

Cookie knows many basic commands such as sit, heel, lay, down, come etc.
Cookie is wonderful with the children at her foster home.
Cookie stays right next to her foster mom off leash
Cookie walks well on a leash and rides great in a car.
