Hannah
Hannah's Shelter Photo
Intake Date 3.3..10
Hannah formerly known as Precious
was rescued from a very high kill shelter in Cadiz Ohio where she was found
in the night drop pen
outside the Harrison County Dog Pound in the dead of winter here in Ohio
What kind of a human being dunps an older dog like this in an outdoor night
drop pen
outside a very rural , poorly funded shelter on a cold snowy night?
You would think they'd take the time to at the very least leave a note letting
the shelter staff
know what name she has been called by all her life
The Dog Pound in Cadiz Ohio where Hannah was dropped off is in dire need
of
DOG FOOD, HAY, TARPS, and other supplies to help the dogs in their care
This Dog Pound has no heated area's for the dogs and the dogs are living in
outdoor runs
They have a small building with no heat where they can fit in a few smaller
cages to hold puppies or small dogs
Hannah was being forced to live in one of these unheated kennel runs for weeks
now in this cold Ohio weather.
If you can find it in your hearts to help this Dog Pound and the animals they
care for
PLEASE CONTACT THEM WITH DONATIONS OF SUPPLIES

Hannah arrived safely at her C.O.D.A.Foster Home in Northfield Ohio,
thanks to a wonderful volunteer Stacey that works hard to help the dogs
that find themselves at the Harrison County Dog Pound
This wonderful volunteer drove Hannah all the way from Cadiz Ohio to Northfield
Ohio so that
Hannah could safely get to her awaiting foster home.
Upon arrival at her foster home Hannah wagged her tail in thanks
When asked to " sit" Hannah immediately sat down
When asked to " give me paw" Hannah immediately gave her foster
mom her paw!
Hannah is in good hands now and is settling into her new lifestyle at her
foster home
We will post updates on Hannah 's progress soon so check back often!
HANNAH 'S SHELTER PULL FEE =$30.00
which included a DHLPP vaccine and an Ohio Dog License for 2010
Hannah is currently in quarantine until we know she hasn't contracted anything
contagious
but Hannah appears to be perfectly healthy and a normal happy, loving , sweet
dog!
Hannah will be getting a good bath and spa treatment Saturday 3.6.2010
Hannah is eating well after a day to settle into her new foster home.
3.10.10
Hannah had her first visit with our Veterinarian today .
Hannah received her adult DHPP and Rabies Vaccinations
Hannah also received her Bordatello vaccine today
Hannah is already spayed as confirmed by our Veterinarian
Hannah has vaginitis ( an infection of the vagina) so will be on antibiotics
for the next 7 days
to clear that problem up for her
Hannah is healthy other than the vaginitis
Our Vet estimated Hannah to be 6 years old
HANNAH'S VET VISIT TODAY =$103.00
Hannah is housebroken and is a perfectly well behaved dog that is fine if
left out alone in the house when her
foster family is away at work/school
Hannah has taken a liking to sleeping cuddled up next to her foster mom in
bed at night
Hannah's foster mom took her for a spa day ( she works grooming dogs) and
Hannah is SO soft and gorgeous now
If you are looking for a perfectly trained, sweet and loving house dog/companion
Hannah is the girl for you!
All the work is done here which is why we can't believe someone would dump
Hannah in a shelter at 6 years old
Perhaps Hannah is yet another animal victim of this horrible economic nightmare
we're all living through
Her family may have lost their home to foreclosure and had no way to care
for Hannah any longer
But their loss is definately her new adopters gain as Hannah is a super well
behaved and adorable dog
that will easily fit into a home with other dogs or cats or children
Hannah knows the following commands
Sit
Lay Down
Give me Paw
Speak
