Muffy is a Cockapoo
Muffy can see and hear fine
Muffy was saved from The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter in Cleveland Ohio and arrived at CODA Dog Rescue on Dec 3, 2004.
Muffy was picked up roaming stray in Cleveland Ohio by the City of Cleveland Kennel
Muffy remained at the City Kennel for a week and was then transfered to the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter
Muffy remained at the CCAS for 3 weeks and was in need of a good grooming her eyes were buried under
a lot of hair and she was not showing well at the shelter due to lack of proper grooming.
Muffy's owners never reclaimed her so the CCAS asked CODA to rescue Muffy since she had been at the Shelter for so long and the Shelter is currently getting in a lot of dogs each week

Muffy is a wonderful little girl who weighs in at a whopping 26lbs
Muffy is housebroken and walks well on a leash she pulls a little but we'll be working on that with her.
Mufy knows the command "sit" and rides like a total lady in cars and loves looking out the window
Muffy will give kisses when he's asked and loves to wag her tail and is fine with cats and other dogs

Muffy has a super personality and our Veterinarian even commented on what a wonderful personality she had for being a Cocker Spaniel mix

Muffy is approximately 3-4 years old and has a life expectency of 14-15 years of age
So Muffy has plenty of living left to do!
Muffy is in good health and is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations.
Muffy's eyes were checked by our Veterinarian Dr. Brian and Muffy is on eye ointment due to redness because of her being ungroomed for so long and the hair covering her eyes was aggravating her eye tissue
Muffy smelled horrible when she left the Animal Shelter and was in terrible need of a good grooming

Muffy's fecal test was negative for any parastites and her heartworm test results were negative also!.
Muffy's heart was also checked and is in excellent condition.
Muffy is going to make some very lucky person a wonderful companion for many years to come.
Muffy is being foster by our small dog foster home and is getting along marvelously with the other small dogs
Muffy is also fine with cats.
Muffy is housebroken she was already housebroken when we rescued her
Someone at sometime did train and socialize Muffy and she reflects that in her behaviour
Muffy will make some lucky family a very loving companion!

Muffy was very happy to get out of the Animal Shelter after being there for 4 weeks.
The farther away we drove the more Muffy smiled and wagged her tail.
Imagine a month stuck in a cage at a kill shelter
Muffy was very happy that CODA rescued her from the shelter!

Muffy's adoption fee is $175.00
We are seeking a home for Muffy with another dog as a playmate and companion
Or a home with a special human who will make Muffy a spoiled only pet
A home with a safely fenced in area for Muffy to play and exercise
or a responsible owner who will walk Muffy regularly on a leash for her exercise
A home with no children under the age of 8 years old.
Home with Cocker Spaniel or Poodle experience preferred but not mandatory

UPDATE:

Muffy has been adopted by a wonderful couple in Litchfield Ohio.
Muffy will be a spoiled only pet and Muffy's new Dad is retired so she'll be getting plenty of love and attention
even when her new Mommy is at work:)
We sure are going to miss Muffy's smile and wagging she's the happiest dog we've ever met!
