Ozzie ( formerly known as " Fluffster")
was rescued from a very high kill shelter in Cadiz Ohio where he was found in the night drop pen
outside the Harrison County Dog Pound in the dead of winter here in Ohio

What kind of a human being dunps an adorable puppy like this in an outdoor night drop pen
outside a very rural , poorly funded shelter on a cold snowy night?

The Dog Pound in Cadiz Ohio where Ozzie was dropped off is in dire need of
DOG FOOD, HAY, TARPS, and other supplies to help the dogs in their care
This Dog Pound has no heated area's for the dogs and the dogs are living in outdoor runs
They have a small building with no heat where they can fit in a few smaller cages to hold puppies or small dogs
If you can find it in your hearts to help this Dog Pound and the animals they care for

Ozzie arrived safely at C.O.D.A. thanks to a wonderful volunteer that works hard to help the dogs
that find themselves at the Harrison County Dog Pound
This wonderful volunteer drove Ozzie all the way from Cadiz Ohio to North Canton Ohio to help get him
closer to C.O.D.A.

Ozzie sends thanks to Ubi's family for helping him get safely to C.O.D.A. by giving him a lift from
North Canton Ohio to Cleveland Ohio
Ubi's kids made sure that Ozzie would have a few toys of his own by giving Ozzie two of Ubi's toys
that Ubi no longer plays with anymore
How sweet is that?

Ozzie's eyes are dark and look perfectly fine with no obvious visual defects
Ozzie also appears to be able to hear perfectly fine also
Ozzie was larger than we exected
We're not sure what Ozzie is mixed with but he is going to be a pretty good sized adult dog based
on his current size/age and his nice big paws
Whatever Ozzie is mixed with he is so adorably cute that he will just melt your heart the second you meet him
Ozzie could have a wonderful future as a professional " dog model" he's THAT cute!

Ozzie was very good for his intake bath and he's still cute even soaken wet!

After his exhausting spa treatment Ozzie ate a bowl of puppy food and settled in a for a nice long nap
OZZIE'S SHELTER PULL FEE =$30.00
which included his first DHLPP vaccine and his Ohio Dog License for 2010

Ozzie is currently in quarantine until we know he hasn't contracted anything contagious
but Ozzie appears to be perfectly healthy and a normal happy, loving , sweet puppy

Ozzie is out of quarantine and enjoying getting to know the other animals here at C.O.D.A.
Ozzie had his first exam with our Veterinarian and was found to be a perfectly healthy puppy
Ozzie weighed in at 18 lbs and is estimated to be 16 wks old
Ozzie received his second set of DHPP puppy vaccinations
Ozzie's Vet Visit Cost - $46.00
Ozzie will not be available for adoption until he completes his vaccinations and is neutered

Ozzie is due for his 3rd set of DHPP vaccinations on 3.31.10
Ozzie is more Old English Sheep Dog than any other breed

Ozzie is doing wonderful on his crate training, and housebreaking skills
Ozzie is a very bold, outgoing and confident puppy
Ozzie's leash training is coming along very nicely
Ozzie is learning that kitties don't like to wrestle wtih him:)

Kashi is being Ozzie's " Mommy Dog" and keeps him tired and worn out and happy

April 2nd 2010
Ozzie visited with Dr. Brian today and received his last set of puppy vaccinations and his rabies vaccination
Ozzie is scheduled to be neutered on April 21st 2010
Ozzie was treated for tapeworms last week when he presented with tapeworm larvae
Ozzie is doing fabulous on his housebreaking skills and hasn't had any indoor accidents in many weeks now
Ozzie will be ready for adoption after he has had time to heal from his neuter surgery
Cost of Ozzie's Vet Visit this week was $37.00
The cost of Ozzie's tapeworm treatment was $20 and Ozzie will need another treatment in two weeks
