18 MONTH OLD MALE MANTLE/MERLE

Rocky was found wandering stray in Athens Ohio very emaciated
Rocky was picked up by the Dog Warden and taken to Athens Ohio Dog Pound
Rocky was initially rescued by a rescue in the area who didn't have Great Dane Experience
Rocky's foster parents had no dane experience and Rocky wasn't doing well in his foster home
CODA was contacted to see if we could take Rocky into our program
Rocky is approximately 18 months old and has tested negative for heartworms and is up to date on all his vaccinations
Rocky will be neutered as soon as he is up to his proper weight and able to undergo anethesia

One of our Great Dane adoptive parents recently lost their 2 older male danes to numerous age related health issues
and had asked that we notify them of any younger male Great Danes in need of a great home
We contacted the adopter about Rocky and it was love at first sight
So Rocky has a wonderful approved home already waiting for him
Rocky will be joining his new mom and dane sisters on saturday 10/21/06

Rocky will be the new fur brother of our adopted Great Dane Tasha and two other female Great Danes
Rocky will be living in Alexandria KY with his new family
Rocky is being adopted on a mandatory neuter contract and his new mom will have him neutered
as soon as Rocky's Veterinarian gives the " all clear" for his neuter surgery
